Default Tell me about your hot pepper experiences..

i'll post a few of my own after i read a couple of yours..

i'm also interested in the hottest pepper/sauce you've ever tried, and how it went..

and, any techniques you use to survive an especially hot pepper..

so, basically the scope of this thread is anything about spicy foods or spicy peppers, including your personal experiences..

Mango habanero is the hottest i tried so far from wingstop. I don't like ranch so I drank strawberry milk to cool the heat down.

mango habanero sounds delicious..

my ordering strategy whenever i try a new wings place is i ask the waiter what's the hottest thing on the menu. once they tell me, i say "i want that, but can you ask the chef to make it extra hot.."

i'd be lying if i said i didn't have to sometimes order a second side of ranch just to finish off some seriously spicy ass wings..

and one time i did that for wings on the taco truck style Clutch City Cluckers. and the dude said, "are you sure?" and i said, "of course i'm sure.."

and i'll be damned if i didn't have to use every trick in the book to get those wings down, and it took me 2 meals just to do it..

so if you a gangsta, beat me by finishing off a dozen of their hottest wings in one sitting..

i think they use just straight up pure capsaicin on their hottest wings, or something similar..

^^interesting sir! never tried em but will put it on my list..

my record for ghost chilies is 36 at one sitting, using plenty of sauce at cane's..

but when i got my latest 5 poundish bag from Alamo City Peppers, good lourd. i thought they sent me Carolina reapers by mistake..

so far, in this new batch, my record is a s.a.f. 9 at one sitting..

usually, smoked ghost chilies are a very dark brown and come in all sizes. the latest batch is more reddish with a tinge of orange, huge, and as hot as a nuclear weapon exploding in your mouth..

i have no idea what happened, but my research proved these were legit ghost chilies and neither reapers, moruga scorpion peppers, nor the newest hottest, Pepper X..

effing genetic engineering, i think..

when I was younger loved spicy food but it's a no-go now with my stomach. The good ole days of eating spicy salsa sauce on nearly everything has me smiling. I use to go overboard with the free spicy hot sauce from Taco Hell/Bell.

Default wait, what..

k so this was some legit fookery.

i was at 5 guys before they fooked with their "extra" menu, and, as always, had my bag of ghost chilies with me.

one of the workers came up and asked me what was in the bag. i told him, accurately, 4 pounds of ghost chili peppers.

he asked me if he could have one, and i said sure, and with the caveat "you know this is the 7th hottest pepper in the world, right?" and he assured me that he did.

5 minutes later, he came back to my table and asked me if he could have another. so i asked him, "you already ate the one i gave you?"

he shook his head, and pointed to his co-worker, "no, she did.."

so i gave him another ghost chili. and barely 10 minutes had passed before paramedics arrived to take her-the coworker-to the ER.

true story. fact is stranger than fiction..

holy crap sir..

i gotta try that shit..

what in the fook kind of peppers they got in that shoot to get to 6 million scovilles?..

i'm still trying to figure out how to eat the batch of ghost chilies i got that they swear are under 2 mill scovilles..

(btw, i dont believe 'em for a second. i think they used genetic engineering to spike that shit to 3 or 4 mils, or betta..)

Taco Casa is the old school Taco Bell menu.
Their hot sauce in the small package s is fire. I made a mistake and used two on my chalupa.
I will never ever do that again.

I can't tolerate spicy food at all. I'm too white.

Now, spicy activities, are another thing entirely.

I also do, but the mild only. I thought I was the only who eats them straight from the pack.
