First time in Atlanta

Hi this will be my first time in Atlanta. I’ve been told to stay in Buckhead, well whenever is the nicer of the two, I get Buckhead and Bankhead confused. lol
Are there any recommendations on where to house while I’m in town? Perhaps a location with shopping and restaurants? Any tips/help would be appreciated

Buckhead is nice but expensive. You can also look at Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Grant Park, Inman Park. Atlanta is definitely a car-centric city so all depends on what you want to have around.

Hey girl I'm currently in ATL now for my first ever visit and so far I've found that Cumberland/Braves stadium, Midtown/Buckhead & Perimeter/Dunwoody are great areas. Ive been told to avoid airport/college park area and east point
